SAT Score Calculator – Estimate Your Digital SAT Score
Our SAT score calculator estimates your scaled score from correct answers for the current Digital SAT format, classic Paper SAT, and PSAT. It also shows approximate percentile rankings and college admission benchmarks.
Digital SAT Format (2024+)
The Digital SAT replaced the paper SAT in the US in Spring 2024. It features two sections: Reading and Writing (54 questions, ~64 min) and Math (44 questions, ~70 min). Each section is adaptive — Module 2 difficulty adjusts based on Module 1 performance. Total test time is about 2 hours 14 minutes.
What Is a Good SAT Score?
The average SAT score is approximately 1010. Scoring above 1200 puts you in the top 25% nationally. A 1400+ score opens doors to competitive universities. To be competitive at highly selective schools (top 20 universities), aim for 1450–1550+.
