Example Calculations
sin(30°) = 0.5 | cos(60°) = 0.5 | tan(45°) = 1
log(1000) = 3 | ln(e) = 1 | √144 = 12
5! = 120 | 2^10 = 1024 | π² = 9.8696
How It Works
- Enter numbers using the digit buttons.
- Press function buttons (sin, cos, log, √) to apply to the current number.
- Use operator buttons (+, −, ×, ÷) then press = to calculate.
- Toggle DEG/RAD for trigonometry angle mode.
- Memory buttons: M+ add, M− subtract, MR recall, MC clear.
- Press History to view recent calculations.

Trigonometry Functions Explained
Sine (sin), cosine (cos), and tangent (tan) are the three primary trigonometric functions. Our calculator supports both Degree and Radian modes — toggle with the DEG/RAD button. Common values: sin(30°)=0.5, cos(60°)=0.5, tan(45°)=1. The inverse functions (asin, acos, atan) find the angle from a ratio.
Logarithms: log vs ln
log(x) means log base 10 — how many times must you multiply 10 to get x? log(1000)=3. ln(x) is the natural logarithm — base e (Euler's number ≈ 2.718). ln(e)=1, ln(e²)=2. Both are essential for exponential growth, compound interest, and scientific calculations.
